This jumps out the glass at you, packed with fresh cherry aromas, which are also on the palate. There is a touch of sourness/bitterness but that adds to the clean refreshing zip, and lasts on in the lingering finish. There is a very champagne like mousse which helps maintain the head. I dont normally like UK fruit beers but this is an exception..delicious! It was a bit frothy when opened and I lost a bit, so be warned. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Color is a bright ruby amber with good carbonation and a tight fluffy head that has a tinge of pink to it. Aroma is a tart wine like cheery scent. Taste is sweet and fruity. Starting with a lighter body it goes down easy with a kind of creamy feel. Finish is a bright sweet cherry that has a slight tart bite on the end and a very mild caramel tasted taste in the back ground. After taste is dry as the cherry hangs on a bit. Wow this is a kick ass fruit ale, light and easy with great fruit flavor that doesn’t over power. raul (11), England

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Samuel Smith’s Organic Cherry Fruit Beer is a clear, dense, brownish cherry red ale with a fluffy, light pink head that becomes dense and has excellent retention and lacing. It has a strong aroma of cherries and wood. It has a very light sweetness, like caramel. It’s medium bodied and incredibly smooth with a very clean finish. It tastes pretty sweet. Cherry is at the forefront and it’s perhaps a bit candy-like. There are notes of caramelly malt and wood. There’s not really any bitterness until the finish, where it’s light and perhaps grassy. Wow! It’s very fruity! Slipstream (780), USA

It is hard to believe that I am sticking my nose into a glass of beer and not a flower. I should splash some of this on my girlfriend. A very nice dessert beer that reminds me of New Glarus fruit beers. It is sugary and fruity, tastes a little like high quality cherry soda. Not much sourness, and I wonder why not. This is a pretty floral brew wtih a clean finish. It tastes good mixed with some pale lager too. Another winner from one of my favorite brewers. jimhilt (1689), Bow, New Hampshire, USA

Cloudy red/amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Cherry nose. Flavor is sweet cherry but not cloying, hops are hidden. Good session beer. $5.59 for a 550ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. wyzzywyz22 (799), Wirral, Merseyside, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2008 Bottle, Empire Wines. Pours a vivid (cherry!) red. Aroma is gorgeous, sweet and packed with lots of ripe cherry. Very smooth mouthfeel, the alcohol is incredibly well masked, and this is almost soft drinkesque and not really very beer like. My wife tried a sip and loved it, and I can see why this might appeal to the ladies....Overall, an excellent fruit beer and a match for any of the belgian fruit beers I’ve thus tried. ghawener (964), San Salvador, El Salvador

Not too sweet, still light and refreshing. I would like a bit more sourness and tart notes. Drank in San Diego.
