When I have apple cider I want it to be a little thicker than this. This beer has a very sour apple type smell to it. Where are the spices? The beer just doesn’t cut it when it comes to aroma. A cheap sour apple smell is all I get, and maybe a little sweet but this is so subtle it is not even funny. A little buttery sour apple booze flavor. I know that is a lot but I am tasting all of the flavors. The range of flavors in the taste is more noticeable than the range of smells and what not in the aroma. I am happier with the taste than the aroma. Still, the palate of the beer does not allow the flavors to run smoothly across my tongue. This is comparable to those sparkling B.S. drinks you buy at the store when you don’t want to drink alcohol for New Years. Pungent, but one dimensional, and the flavors weren’t too bad. Decent brew. thegreenrooster (1839), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Aroma is sweet with the obligatory apple. Flavor is more like a dry white wine. Very dry with some crisp apple and lots of carbonation. When i saw they added cane sugar to this i was ready for the sweetness and the headache but to my suprise this was not to be. A decent cider. Sammy (4013), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nice to have a bit of, beer or wine replacement over a meal, preferably. Great with hot apple pie. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 6, 2008 This is a mellow, enjoyable cider. It is light and fruity, but not very tart or complex. English ciders are not as sugary as Yankee ciders, and this is no exception. Loved the Victorian label. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

No hint of the alcohol in this cider. Good but it was like drinking a straight cider
