Pretty basic like baby food. Very mild and uneventful. Weak carbonation w/ smooth tartness. It’s very easy to drink. Comparatively speaking this cider is simple with defined apple flavor and not too sweet. I was let down. Maybe my expectations were too high since it says Samuel Smith on the bottle. IDK.

Bottle 550ml
Appearance: Clear gold cider with bright white top.
Nose: Sweet nutty feel with light golden grainy character (???)
Flavor/Palate : Slight sourness with sweet green apple feel. Solid cider. Rich and well rounded drink.

The Dan Journal #219. Tasted 8/7/08. 550ml bottle. Filtered with a pale golden hue. Bubbled ring of head. Fresh apple nose. Medium bodied with low acid and a mild tartness. Tangy with good apple flavors. Simple and uncomplex. Straight forward cider.

From a 500 m; bottle this was a slightly cloudy gold, with no head. Smells like apples. Light mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet. Good for its type.

No head. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is notes of apple, seeds. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Very ordinary.
