Been a while since I posted a cider review, so when I found this one today figured I would give the Belgians a break and return to my roots. Suprisingly sweet for what I was expecting to be much drier. Don’t know, but to me was almost scrumpy like. Pour was pretty flat like most ciders, fairly cloudy but no chunks. Drank fairly easily and 5% ABV was certainly not noticeable. Felt good to get back to a cider. Now on to the Belgians Again!

Bottle. Pours a clear treacle hued amber with a thin white head. Big sweet apple, a hint of pear. Medium bodied, light sweetness, apples, light tang. Crisp dry finish with a light lingering tartness. Rather tasty.

I wasn’t aware that we could rate ciders... anyhoo here goes. Aroma consists simply apple peels. Darker looking than your average macro lager. It’s nice taste like ripe apples but not too sweet. If I had to put my finger on it I’d say it’s like Fuji apples (a personal favorite apple of mine). Overall it’s a nice cider... not too sweet or overpowering, drinkable.

Aroma of apple (of course) with some light white grape and champagne notes. Appearance is golden with light creamy head. Flavor is champagne influenced apple with a white grape finish. Palate is bubbly and lively. A decent first cider. I look forward to trying some of the higher rated ciders.

Tastes more like a white wine than a cider. Aroma is dry and slightly sweet. Seems more like a cider for those who like wine than beer lovers.

Aroma is of apples. Pours a pale gold with a very thick, fizzy white head. Taste is more apple juice than cider. Very dry and sweet. Not bad but could use a higher abv.

Bottled. Poured a pale fizzy yellow. Pretty standard aroma, taste was refreshing and not a whole bunch of alcohol. Pretty god.

Clear fizzy yellow, lively, effervescent... Aroma is quite vinous, and very much like a regular non-alcoholic cider would be... Apples dominate the flavor profile, dry, not sweet, a nice cider, but not much better than the average ones especially given the price tag..

Got this by mistake... Found out that I actually liked the taste. I would suggest getting it if for nothing else but, a change.
