The aroma was faint tangy and sour typical lager. The flavor was light, dryish and tangy with faint fruits and a touch of grassy hops. The finish was short and simple. Medium body. Crisp with no off flavors. Not a whole lot going on but certainly drinkable. troyengel (1), San Francisco, California, USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Smooth and clean with a sweet malt taste when you’re looking for a more meaty/heavy lager. Seems to go a little flat quickly but not bad overall. Wouldn’t consider it my daily lager but it’s pleasant to try. jb (1035), Rochester, New York, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Pale gold, small head. Aromatic malt aromas. Slightly sweet, just a hint of hops, floral; maltose flavors predominate. A decent, but unexceptional, lager.
edit: I left this half full, capped, in a fridge overnight, and I think it actually improved. Got a wild, herby smell; kind of awakening in character. Wouldn’t want it like this often, but still interesting. swoopjones (1900), Buffalo, New York, USA
