Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Appearance: Pours a clear, lightly effervescent, yellow body topped with a respectable, snow white head. Smell: Pale malts with a pleasant floral note and just a hint of cracked pepper. Taste: Pale maltiness, lightly sweet and with a vague grainess in the background. A drop or two of citrus. Floral hop character with a mild, restrained bitterness. Hints of caramel work their way in as it warms. Final hop bite on the otherwise sweetish finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A very competent lager from Samuel Smith.

Overall, a very good lager. Pale yellow gold in colour with a thin head of foam along the glass. Mild carbonation with aroma of flowery hops and nuts. Taste is medium hop tasting with a slightly bitter finish. Bottle from Kensington Wine Market.

Pretty good as pale lagers go. Pale yellow color and a fairly thick head initially but the head fizzes into a very light layer within a very short time. Nice lacing is left though. Not much in the way of fragrance other than a vague smell of yeast and pale malt. Flavor is great, as pale lagers go though with a rich fruity malt taste and a distinct bitter hop finish. (Yes, this pale lager actually has a finish.) This is a great beer for guzzling on a hot day. Refreshing and clean tasting. Nice.

Bottle... Poured pale straw with a white head. Aroma is floral and a blend of hops and malt. This brew is very sweet and buttery malt takes over while there’s a dab of hops for bittering refreshment. Finishes with an acidic, juice-like aftertaste.

I guess its supposed to be cool that this is organic...but it doesn’t make it a better beer. Not at all. A typcial lager. Watery and thin. Boring. Blah.
