Very pale color and very bland taste. It was like drinking water with a can taste. I know this is a pale lager but I think that’s an understatement on this one. This one was barely even a beer to me. afireinside96 (839), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2008 Best paler lager out there. Still pretty light body, but flavor is more well developed, and there’s hardley any hints of adjuncts that most other pale lagers seem to emphasize. The only drawback was that it was way over carbonated. buzzoven (333), Japan
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | May 16, 2008 Hazy golden colour with a nice dense off-white head. Smells of yeast, dough, slight honey. Overall, a solid beer but not one that I find myself returning to often. VitaminR (442), Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2008 Sweet honey fruit nose. Deep yellow gold color, minimal head, dissipated quickly. Mild malt sweetness, some honeydew, mild bitterness created a nicely balanced beer. Highly carbonated, medium body, really nice honeysuckle finish that lingers. This is a really nice Pale Lager. yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 8, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a diminished white head. Aroma is light fruity and mild malty. Light cardboard note. Flavour is light fruity too with a mild dry malt note and a mild metallic note. Light hoppy finish with a mild bitterness and light dry malt profile. detroitsteel (233), Greater London, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 30, 2008 I was at a Sam Smiths pub recently which sparked an orgy of reviews for their largers (why the Largers? Don’t really know...). This was to my jaded palete fairly undistinguishable (is that spelt correctly?) from the Pure Brewed Larger, which I thought it was until closer inspection of the lable. Which isn’t saying much. If your in a Sam Smiths pub try and find something more intresting than this. Aquilo (275), California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 29, 2008 This one gets points for looks. Crystal clear and golden with a head so fluffy I want to use it as a pillow. Loses points for aroma. Smells of apples and fertilizer. If I were standing in a well fertilized apple orchard, that would be okay. But this is a beer! And organic doesn’t have to smell like poo. The flavor is allright, but not very complex. Celery and tomato. This is like drinking vegetable broth with alcohol in it. I’ll just pretend that I’m drinking a bloody mary.
