Mild yet crisp aromas. Chilled and crisp. Medium bodied and flavorful. I love that this beer is in the same category as BMC? Crisp yet grainy. Moderate hops with earthy characteristics. Better than most in this category, but still slightly off. DuffMan (2764), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Bright clear yellow gold, foamy white head leaving early lace. Floral-kissed pale malt aroma and flavour, mildly bitter finish. On the plus-side of average, but really nothing special here to warrent the import price you are going to pay. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 23, 2008 A cold pour produces a tall lasting head w/ a fluffy downy canopy that lingers the whole drink. Pale golden in color w/ strong aromas of a malty brew. Full nectar w/ good carbonation. A big malty backbone w/ fruity lager goodness hinting at caramel. The finish is bitterd and skunked mildly and has a brisk crispness to it. One of the best lagers out ther. kidmartinek (985), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2008 Full golden color, 1 inch head. Yeast and bland malt and hop lager aroma. Tastes cold, heavy bite, and like corn, like most all lagers. I’m becoming of the opinion that all lagers generaly suck. Finishes with a little bite. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Pours a golden yellow that is darger than most lagers. Full head that leaves a decent layer throughout. Distinct malts and grains in the aroma. Taste is the same, with a subtle citrusy hops to balance it out. Light-bodied with a clean, crisp mouthfeel. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Pours light, clear and golden. Forms white foamy head with an aroma of hops, malts and grains. The flavour is somewhat weak and thin, but clean. Not as full bodied as I was expecting. illidurit (889), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Pours a golden orange color with a watery white head. Not much lacing on the pint glass. Aroma is pretty standard lager, with clean grainy flavors, a hint of citrus, and a smooth sweetness. Flavor is much the same. The graininess is very clean and crisp, with some caramel to it. Hops come into play as a tart lemony citrus that’s quite subdued. Mouthfeel is very smooth but the carbonation is a bit high. Clean, dry, and refreshing. Easy to drink. Fantomasus (122), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Pours, smells, and looks like a well produced lager beer. The flavor is subtle yet well appreciated. The thing that gets me about this beer is the wonderful dry finish. It leaves you wanting more. Good stuff from the boys at Sammy Smith’s.
