The flavor is subtle yet well appreciated. The thing that gets me about this beer is the wonderful dry finish. It leaves you wanting more. Good stuff from the boys at Sammy Smith’s. Near perfect in balance and highly drinkable. One of the nicest lagers out there, in my opinion. gotbeach (138), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Bottle. Clear, yellow, fizzy pour with a bright white head. I could only smell some malt. Tasted like a classic decent lager that was light and easy to drink without a somewhat dry finish. Cheers for going organic! LouieDog40oz (28), Germantown, Maryland, USA

Although its hard to compare different styles of beers I feel like lagers just are not up to par and for a lager it is supeior to others. pintbypint (1018), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Grains in the aroma, some malt sweetness, faint fruit and floral note. Has some honeyish/sweet grain/malt flavours, with a grassy finish, modest bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation. Drinkable pale lager. MrRain (435), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/20 | Feb 12, 2008 550ml bottle poured into a lager glass. SSOL pours, in typical pale lager fashion, light yellow and crystal clear with a minimal head. It has a very slight fruity aroma along with that stale beer smell that you find in a bar in the morning before it opens up. The flavor is slightly sweet but has more of a bitter celery flavor. The body is extremely light and fairly crisp. The after taste is non-existant. As far as being organic... well, I work for Monsanto so I’m not such an organic fan. Give me chemicals or give me death! | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2008 April 2006 - Beer poured with a nice head and the aroma of corn. The flavor, though, was better than the aroma. Real smooth, perhaps a TOUCH too sweet (some corn sweet, but also fruity), but enough hops (grassy and floral) to compensate and give the beer a real character. A good lager, for sure. thewolf (5822), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a pretty, weak golden with a very pretty, frothy white head - rather large. Aroma is sweet, malty, some ginger and hops. Surprisingly full mouthfeel. Flavour is malty sweet, doughy, but with a nice hoppy finish that doesn’t get too dry. Nice Pale Lager.
