Feb 24, 2007 Updated: Jul 7, 2008One handsome beer. The only problem is that this beer is less than the sum of its parts. Though it looks great and has a nice mouthfeel, the flavor is just a notch above mediocre. Clean and grassy at least, and it is easy drinking.

Feb 21, 2007 Has a light hop aroma. Huge frothy white head, transparent gold in color. Taste is clean, lightly bitter, with an average finish. Body is light, dry texture, soft carbonation.

Feb 8, 2007 (Very early rating and very short, I’m afraid) Nice head and color. The flavour has notes of fruit, hops and a nice bitterness. It’s nice.

Feb 6, 2007 This beer pours a golden yellow with a medium white head leaving some lacing down the sides. When I poured this thing, I got BIG odors of skunkiness! I can also smell the hops in this thing. Although for a lager the flavor is good, I am not mush of a lager fan so therefore don’t really care for this beer that much. For the style though, They have done a great job! Cheers!

Feb 1, 2007 550 ml bottle from Trader Joe’s. First, they need to date their bottles. This one poured out a light lager yellow with a big head that settled down quickly. Slight skunk and bit of hop spice in the nose. Taste does show a little bit more hoppiness than almost anything else in this color. But I guess this was meant to compete with the Heinies & Stellas: Very little malt character, just a clean light sweetness that at least has the saving grace of a decent (English?) hop profile. Decent enough drink, but I’m rushing out for another one.

Jan 18, 2007 355ml brown bottle. Golden yellow translucent body with a quarter inch of white head. Smells sweet, fruity, and hoppy. Tastes sweet and malty, with some hop. Clean finish. On the lighter side of medium bodied, with a little less carbonation than one might expect. Still pretty damn good for the style, though I wouldn’t expect any less from this brewery.

Jan 13, 2007 18.7 Oz Bottle. Poured a golden color w/a moderate white head. Has a fruity floral aroma. A little more hops on the front end than your typical Lager, has some good flavor to it. Sweet roasted hop flavor w/a touch of malt bitterness to balance it out. I found this very enjoyable, very refreshing. Definate sesson brew, you could really enjoy a few of these.

Jan 11, 2007 2.99 Trader Joes, really good actaully, pretty smooth, not bitter but tastes lieka lager should. There are no off notes in this beer.
