Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Bottled. Not a lot going on with this brew...pretty similar in smell and taste to budweiser products, not impressive and not much different then any other canned beer I could get down the street.

There are more bubbles on the bottom of my glass than the top? I would not say "hoppier", but compared to other British lagers maybe so. A mildly grassy hop aroma with some crystal (?)malts, they were light. Overpriced for what it is in the U.S.

18.7 oz bottle. Light gold in color. Icy, light head. Strong scent of barley. Pilsener like with the stale bitterness. Clean, even finish with light wheat-like after taste. Trumps a Bud Light any day but not a beer I’d go looking for.

Bright gold, clean with small foamy head. Nice hoppy flavor, not too bitter. Light aroma

Sampled at Broudy’s Holiday Beerfest, Jacksonville FL 12/2/2006. Better than the average premium lager, but its still just a premium lager. I’m just not into organic, either. The whole organic foods hype thing seems to be such a scam to me. At least it had some decent hops.

Bottle, poured color was like an apple juice with a white head. Not much of an aroma to this lager. Taste was very similar. Somewhat disappointing for a S. Smith, the Oatmeal and Porter were so much more, should I say it Fergie, smithalicious. Anyway not up to par for Samual Smith.

Not real smooth or crisp. Way too hoppy for a lager (in my opinion). I wish there was a bigger finish. In general, a thin simple lager with no real finish or complexity. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. It is good for an organic brew (clear and foamy) with no grain.

Sort of boring for a Sammy. Sort of hoppy and fruity, not as cool as the others.
