Pours a beautiful, deep gold with a nice white head. Aroma is slightly sweet whitebread and malts. The taste starts out surprisingly malty and finishes with a slight hop twinge. A superb lager, absolutely delicious.

Typical lager. Smell and taste was very similar to Corona. Not very impressive. Very drinkable however it is too similar to other domestic lagers. Nice session.

550mL bottle. Clear yellow to water color with bright white head. Pleasant malty and hoppy aroma with a hint of bread. Flavor is pale malts, sweet malts, crisp hops and a hint of breadiness. Refreshing brew with a nice mix of flavor notes. Might be a bit watery.

Bottle. Slightly hazed gold with a small white head. Nose is malty and rich with floral hops and a touch of tea leaves. Taste is also very malty with light floral hop notes, light spicy hoppiness, faint honey tea, and a touch of fruit. Body is light-medium with mild carbonation. Ends with more spicy and floral hop notes, soft fruit and rich malts.

Completely agree with commercial description. It’s is an absolutely delicious beer. Would buy time and time again.

Pretty much exactly the same as the regular pure brewed lager, but with a vague sense of smug self satisfaction.

Lots of fruity hops in the aroma, but the taste is actually quite malty. The aroma of the malt came out a bit more as it warmed. Light hoppy finish that was a tad short. As far as the "organicness" of this beer goes, I don’t doubt it, but I can’t tell that it makes a better lager either. Not bad, but definitely Smith’s worst that I have tried.

Drank this one a while back as well, plus I was a little high already, so I don’t quite remember enough to give adequate feedback. I am a lager guy, though, and this one wasn’t one of my favorites. I will say that it tasted good enough to drink again, and I think you should try it (or anything else from Samuel Smith).
