Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Pretty typical pale lager with some corn flavor and just a notch more malt and hops than other standard pale lagers; I didn’t find the flavor all that interesting but I think I am glad it was organic?

"Poured an orangy color with nice head which didn’t last nor did the lacing. Aroma was of corn little skunk to it. Flavor was was way way way to sweet, corn some hops. "

Crisp pour, with a bready, yeasty head which disappates slowly. Clear darkened gold much like their regular lager. Slightly citrus bite on the nose. Very much a bready lager, slight bitter tartiness on the tongue. Quite watery texture, also much like the regular lager. Current pour has a slight metallic taste when washed around the mouth.(Bottle Pour 6/12/2006)

A corny paper aroma. A nice gold with just a hint of orange. A decent malty flavor and just a taste of bitter. A decent beer for the style.

Bottle: While waiting for the morning newspaper opened this beer. Barley grain aroma. Clear yellow the head disipated before I could even tell what color it was. Wet barley grain and malt with a touch of lemon. Need some water to clense the palate now. Almost a drain pour but hard to pour hard earned money down the drain.

Nice initial head that thinned, but didn’t yield impressive lacing. The aroma was initially of skunky corn, but that subsided to a still somewhat corn-like aroma. The flavor was slightly sweet, corn-like, but grainy at the same time (distinguishing it from a pitiful pale lager). Very light grass noted underneath with bittering hops also making somewhat of a light showing. Too much light fruity stuff going on with this one, definitely not your crisp and clean lager. Drink it as an ale and you may approve. Mouthfeel was average for the style.

500 ml bottle, from Trader Joe’s PB. Pours clear orangey golden with a large white head that diminishes quickly, but leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of soapy malts, floral notes and a hint of citrus. Fllavor is sweet and biscuity, touch of honey, again a little soapiness and light floral hops in the finish. Light body and crispy carbonation. Not bad for a pale lager.

Poured from the bottle a standard golden lager color with a poofy white head. Taste is somewhat normal -- fizzy and medium bodied -- nothing too distinguishing, until the somewhat spicy and hoppy aftertaste. Nothing too offensive, but this beer does have a nice little kick at the end, which may give novice beer drinkers a beer face. I enjoyed it.
