Bottle: Pasteurised
A full-bodied lager with lots of malt and hop character. A touch hoppier than many lagers yet perfectly balanced with lots of fruity hop character and fragrance.

Poured golden with a white froathy head. Enjoyably bitter with malty goodness on the back end leaving a certain fruityness on the palate. A good lager glad I got it at a discounted price.

Poured from a bottle the beer appears a crystal clear, pale gold color. Grassy aroma with some floral hop notes. Clean crisp flavor with some bitter, then malty and a slight sweet finish. A nicely balanced lager.

Purchased brown bottle from Whole Foods supermarket from refrigerated section. No head with soft carbonation. Light clean flowery aroma. Clear golden yellow color with light-to-medium body. Starts with intense sharp bitterness, middles out with a nutty malt flavor and finishes dry with light hoppiness of short duration. The intense bitterness quality of the organic lager stands up well to garlicky pizza. Much preferred the non-organic version of Samuel Smith’s lager as it is much more balanced and smoother compared to the organic version. .

Top quality lager, looks good & tastes good too! Smooth, with the emphasis on malt. There is a slight sweetness on the finish, but a soft flowery/fruity hop character is noticable as well...EXCELLENT! From The Fine Wine Co, Musselburgh.

Pours yellow from the bottle with no head. Decent bubbles lift up from the bottom. Smells of grass and malts. Flavor is sweetish grassiness, with some malt flavor, which makes it somewhat interesting, but overall, quite an ordinary beer.

Samuel Smith’s Organic Lager has a slight aroma and the color is a light golden. The head is a long lasting foamy white. A light bodied beer that has some hop bitterness. The aftertaste is clean and short lasting.

Bottle. Quite a pale beer with a thin frothy head. The flavour is reasonable dry with a slight toffee texture, the aroma is slightly dry but generally none descript. Overall a disappointing beer.

Clear, light golden appearance with a decent size head. Sweet malt, cereal-like aroma. Flowery, soft fruit, mildly sweet taste. Medium bodied, modestly carbonated mouthfeel. Short lived finish. Anticipation was greater than the final results.
