Not a whol eheck of a lot going on, but it was very easy to drink and not offensive at all. Some maltiness in there, but very faint. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA

Decent white head & lace. a bit buttery & stoney in the aroma...smooth, creamy, light malt...some hops at the end when it turns a bit watery. Decent enough. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA

There is an earthy component to the flavor profile of this beer -- the organic part? While the malt and hops are in balance, the beer is a bit over-carbonated. Still, it is drinkable and very light, without compromising its weight on the palate. Gurst (338), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2005 Color is about the same for most pale lagers: a light, sickly yellow. But, this one has a medium-sized head, and it’s not like a soda-fizz either. Taste and aroma are grassy, but very low until the end. The last bit of the sip and the aftertaste have a crisp, fruity hoppiness that runs over a light, sweet malt. Very excellent balance in the finish. Solid mouthfel, a small bit thicker than an average pale lager. Tmoney99 (4792), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 27, 2005 Bottle. Clear amber with medium white head that diminished quickly. Small aroma. Light body with smooth texture. good flavor that was well balanced of hops and malt with small bitter finish. Good marketing for an average brew. Strykzone (1497), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Really it’s a pretty nice lager. Fairly smooth with a nice mouthfeel. Am curious what the "organically" part has to do with it, other than make it quite pricey. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA

While it is a good beer to relax with when you want something simple, it isnt quite worth 4 bucks for what you get. WesBeerGuy (62), Rocky Hill, Connecticut, USA

Looks like beer, tastes like beer. Pretty decent for a generic lager, I suppose. I guess I could drink a lot of it without complaining, because it’s good, but it is not THAT good, especially not for $3.99. Ok, but I won’t buy it again. Worst Sam Smith out there.
