Aroma is very strongly of raspberry - and I love raspberries! There are hints of malt and yeast. It pours clear and a color right on the border between dark copper and mahogany. Head is off-white and fairly thick. Flavor is malty with a firm overtone of raspberry, a little sweet and a little sour; finish is quite fruity-sweet. Texture is smooth and a little fizzy.

Bottle. Maroon bodied not unlike a red cough syrup. Tall beige and red colored head. Nose is grainy bread, raspberry jam and sugary sweetness. Taste is also very sweet but tasty, not unlike Lindemans fruit lambics. Raspberries/berries with grainy , bready notes, sugary berry jam, and light tartness. Bod is light and very bubbly with a mild tartness.Ends with more raspberry and berry sweetness and tartness, bready malts, and slight grainy flavors and raspberry jam. Not too terrible but if you’re going for a dessert beer, it could be a bit better.

Pours a really attractive deep red, dark pink color with a thin, pinkish head. Aroma is straight up raspberry. This beer is not trying to be anything other than raspberry. Fortunately the raspberry is done very well. a nice tart fruit flavor without being cloying or sweet. If you know what you’re getting into it’s enjoyable.

Purplish-red color with a medium pink head. Raspberries, malt and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. Strong rapberry flavor, not too sweet, with a tart finish. Maybe a little too carbonated. Quite nice and very drinkable.

In the bottle at the 2009 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Festival. Garnet color with a pink head. Synthetic fruit aroma. Does not smell like raspberry. Up front tartness and a bolus of raspberry flavor followed by a quick chalky dismissal.

hazy orange color, small white head, quite lacy. nose: strawberries! taste: strawberries! medium baodied, sweet strawberry finish which sticks in the back of your throat. not dreadful, just not pleasant. i expected more from this brewer, but what the heck, i don’t like fruit beer, so it is not all their fault. single bottle from binny’s orland park.

Starts out with sweet raspberries, and then finishes a bit tart. Nice flavor profile - even if it is a bit simplistic. Body is a bit thin and heavily carbonated, but overall, I enjoyed this. A solid enjoyable fruit beer. Very drinkable.

Septemberfest. Sample from a bottle shared by me. Pinkish red with a thin white cover. Aroma is syrupy raspberry. Taste is simple raspberry, sweet but not overly sugary. Better than the strawberry.
