Bottle from Whole Foods. Ruby liquid with a pinkish head. Raspberry is the aroma. Flavor is sweet raspberry. Not even much seed bitter. Seems med. body with frothy carbonation. Not so bad. Goes fairly well with salad. Kind of fun.

550ml Bottle: Sweet, raspberry aroma. Poured ruby/magenta in color with a medium-sized pink head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Very sweet flavor. Tastes of raspberry. Light to medium body. Tingly texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sweet raspberry finish. Better than I expected.

Pours deep reddish copper with a tall dusty pink head that has good retention. Aroma is raspberry, straw, red apple, wheat, a touch of caramel and dusty grains, sweet floral notes as it warms. Flavor is fresh raspberries, sweet grains, wheat cereal, green and red apples, floral perfume, light lemon-lime citrus notes and buttery pie crust. Palate is thin to medium thickness with a rather dry feel all over and a slightly acidic finish. Better than the other two varieties but still a little over done on the fruit, I wonder if a couple months of aging would tone down the fruit a little and let more malt notes come out or just make it taste stale and oxidized.

This is a nice fruity beer. It is dark burgundy red with small white head. Tastes like raspberries, smells like raspberries. All exactly as advertised. Not too sweet. Doesn’t really taste like a beer either. Still, it’s hard to be disappointed by it. It sure hits the spot if you’re thirsty.
