hazy deep purple with a large frothy light pink head. very similar appearance to the cherry. amazing raspberry and flower aroma with a distinct spicy herbalness. a floral, caramel, raspberry flavor with toasted malt finish. some hints of milk chocolate too. there something hugely appealing about this beer. I can’t quite nail it down though. the caramel flavors mid palate?, milk chocolate?, the sweetness?, the flowery hints in the finish? everything perfectly infused with lush ripe raspberries. i never thought a fruit beer could be this good. wow! I’m a fan.

lively aroma of ripe, tart raspberry. very inviting. the flavor was not quite as assertive, but pleasing nonetheless. a tad thin on the palate, but a highly drinkable, slightly tart, and nicely fruity ale. well done.

Sampled from a 550 ml brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant pink-fuchsia with a huge dark pink head. The aroma was musty, tart and fruity. The flavor was tart raspberry jam with notes of sugar and must. The finish was medium length berry. Fairly full bodied. Very one dimensional but quite pleasant. Good.

Big brown odd shaped bottle. Lucious raspberry fruity aroma. Smells like many real lambics I’ve sampled. Cloudy dark looking beer with an alabaster pink head. Delicious raspberry taste amoung other ale attributes, fairly nice! For over 5%, hides the alky content very well. Enjoyable, perhaps a very nice holiday beer. Could drink this stuff all day. Fruity and friendly, a character that is lacking in most fruit beers which lack real fruit character. There is this slight hint of bitterness in the background that keeps you alert to the fact that it is an ale. Good tingle carbonation on the palate. Finish is quite good except for that average bitter ale bite building on the center of the tongue. Not bad overall and I found this to be a beer worth it’s $!

~Pours a cloudy light red color with thick creamy pinkish white head. ~Candy raspberry scent with an underlying malty wheat, somewhat tart. ~Tart raspberry flavor overpowers the base wheat beer. ~Light, somewhat frothy, fresh, clean and refreshing feel. Tart and sweet finish. Little bite on the tongue. ~Good fruit beer. Raspberry overpowers a bit, but good fresh flavor of raspberry. Great dessert brew!

pink head reminded me of Lindeman’s Framboise. Some sweet malt behind lots of fruit in the nose. Nice body with a strong raspberry flavor and sweet finish.
