Sampled on 12/9/2009. This fruit beer pours a light strawberry color from a 550ml bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head, with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is strawberries, malt and sweet. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of sweet to semi sweet strawberry flavors. Not a lot of hops. It’s a little too sweet for me. It would be better with some hops or some tartness. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Pours a five+ finger light almost pink head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear pink/amber color. Strong carbonation and medium bodied. Strawberry nose. Flavor is sweet strawberry but not cloying, hops are hidden, like drinking fizzy liquid strawberries. $5.59 for a 550ml bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

Hazy red-orange pour with a white head, decent retention and lacing. Aroma is mostly strawberry with a touch of vanilla. Flavor is strawberry, slight grain, tartness, a little acid. Not a big fan of the finish... slightly metallic. Very artificial flavor. Medium body with no alcohol warmth and moderate carbonation. Blah...

aroma is of pale malt balanced well with nearly subtle strawberry jam. appearance is straw yellow and points to macerated strawberries and the juice they release. flavor is nice balance of clean, pale and/or crystal malts with strawberry devoid of any overpowering sweetness. however an unpleasant nearly boozy aftertaste lingers. more beer like then the raspberry sam smith’s but more offensive in some regards.

Bottle. Pours a reddish tan with a short similar colored head. Aroma is strong strawberry jam and berries. Some candy as well. Taste is equally sweet with strawberry jam, fermenting berries, candy and soft grainy notes. Body is light and very bubbly with subtle tartness. Ends with more strawberry jam, candy, berries and grains.

Dark amber color with a moderate off-white head. Aromas of mashed strawberries on the verge of fermenting. Sweet strawberry flavors with just a hint of caramel in the background. Laffy Taffy with some malted milk.

In the bottle at the 2009 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Festival. Light amber in color with a very thin white head. Amazing strawberry aroma. Very sweet. Candy sweet in fact. More like a strawberry soda pop. Refreshing in the summer.
