White head. Gold color. The smell was good, but not great. Unlike the last reviewer, I don’t think this smelled at all like a pilsner. Weak flavor, but it was there. Not very complex, but I wouldn’t mind having a case of these instead of PBR. To put it lightly.

Strange to have bought a British lager--here goes. Pours a bubbly, transparent golden body with a swiftly thinning, white head--looks "pure"... aroma is reminiscent of of an Eastern block pilsner--crisp sharp malts and perfumy yeast... full-bodied yet pleasantly mouth-watering and satisfying with a buttery-smooth presence in texture... malt is soft and sweet--balanced with a mellowness that invites another... lagers are tough to argue against when they present little flaw, and the Samuel Smith brewers aren’t about to offer a second-rate anything apparently... clean and crisp, as a lager should be...

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Clear golden body. Mild and good barley malt aroma, relatively sweet. Weak and mild barley malt flavor with grassy notes and a bit of hops. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. Too watery.

It pours a pale golden beer with a decent white head. The nose is of hops, peaches, pineapple and caramel. The taste is surprisingly malty. Sweet biscuity with some pineapple showing up. Slightly grassy. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Dry finish with a slight salty touch.

Draught. For a British lager this is quite amazing. Lovely floral/malty aroma that lingers through the glassful. Balanced body with refreshing citrus overtones. Perhaps the only complaint (and unique in my experience of British lagers) it’s slightly under carbonated. Nevertheless, a superb summer beer.

550 ml. bottle, golden color with nice foam head, sweet malt nose and fruity spice flavors, good crisp finish, a nicely done lager , refreshing not unlike a junior mint

Aroma – Nice malt aroma with a light hops in the nose.
Appearance – Light golden in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – A decent lager with some good malt and hops flavors and balance.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, smooth texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – A good beer very well brewed this was a very nice Lager.

550ml bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose is sweet , grainy, with a light vanilla and caramel note; clear gold with a medium off-white head; flavor is grassy, grainy, mild hop bitterness, and a very light sweet note; finish very mildly bitter.
