Feb 27, 2008 Bottle from Winking Lizard. This beer pours a clear pale orange-gold color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. The aroma is mildly hoppy with a bit of malt. Light-bodied with a light hops and malt flavor with touches of grass and fruit. The finish is lightly hopped and short. Overall this beer is rather subpar.

Feb 8, 2008 As far as my dumb ass knowledge goes this could well be the first decent English lager I’ve had. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m proud. Rule Brittania and all that. It maynot be great but it certainly isn’t shite. In all honesty, like our footballl team I’m building it up. At least I’m honest enough to admit...it’s not bad, I liked it.

Jan 30, 2008 Updated: Jan 27, 2009550 ml. Clear pale gold with a three finger, creamy head. Aroma is metallic apple and slight spiced honey. Flavor is well-balanced blend of mild apple and honey against some delicately bitter herbs. Palate is light-medium, smooth, refreshing and crisp.

Jan 29, 2008 550ml bottle. Pours a nice golden color with lots of carbonation but a minimal white head. Lots of malt on the nose and palate. Slightly bitter hop finish. Refreshing beer – was pleasantly surprised.
