Bottle - Golden with white head. Medium to thin body. Not much to this beer, but okay for a lager. Floral nose, hint of citrus. Sweet malt, grass. Thin hops.

Pours from brown 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Nice golden hue with lots of carbonation. Aroma is grains with faint floral and some pleasant citrus. Taste is rather grainy malts with just enough hops to keep you interested. Very delicately balanced. An excellent lager and a perfect summer session candidate.

I really love this beer. I believe it is more balanced than most lagers. Great flavor. Not overly comlpex but goes great with a sandwich or pizza.

Very good lager. Was poured from bottle bought from local General Store. Deep yellow body with a white head that quickly went away. Sweet hops filled my nose that was somewhat hindered from a cold. However again I keep saying it Samuel Smith know how to produce fine clean beers. It seems you are getting a clean strong beer no matter what style it is. This Lager would be the one I pick after 18 holes of golf somewhere in England, might fine.

Golden with no carbonation. Some dryness at first with a lingering sweetness that develops later. Quite impressive for a British lager.

(Early rating and very inadequate, I’m afraid) Nice head and color and the aroma has notes of hops and hints of melon. The flavour has a nice depth, but I feel it’s out of balance. It has a nice bitterness and a nice finish. Refreshing.

550ml brown bottle from Florian’s. Yellow-amber with about a half an inch of white head that dissipates rather quickly. Caramel malt and English hops dominate the aroma. Tastes like equal parts English hops and roasty/caramel malt, though somewhat aqueous. Finishes rather clean. Lighter mouth feel. Flavor is pleasing albeit a bit weaker than expected. Very drinkable though, as it’s pleasant and tasty. Not a great beer, but good for what it is, probably the best Euro-lager I’ve ever had by quite a bit.
