Crisp smooth taste and finish. Drinks faster that other Sam Smiths. Somewhat neutral in everyway. It’s a good beer, and I very much enjoyed it, but it just didn’t leave a lasting impression. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA

The head is perhaps the best I’ve had - tastes like a fresh Roma apple. It’s even like drinking an apple. I could have this beer again and again and again... tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Thick white head. Creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Taste is actually quite nice - almost a malt like taste, not the crispy fizziness blandness associated with most import lagers. Really, almost like a light ale. One of the fresher tasting Sam Smith’s I’ve had as well, which obviously helps. A pleasant surprise. jondr72 (11), Wyckoff, New Jersey, USA

Honey and cereal tates with a dirty, gritty end. Soapy mouthfeel. Not a good lager overall.
