bottle. pours a bubbly light gold with a thin white head. very sweet aroma that grows on me. taste is nothing special, a little hop a little malt, very middle of the road. enjoyable clean mouthfeel. leaves a honeyish aftertaste. not bad.

The most maligned group of drinkers in the UK are known as ’lager louts’. These mainly young men drink to get intoxicated and then cause problems for all and sundry with their often violent behaviour and anti-social activities. Why are they angry young men? Perhaps it is because they want their beers to be flavoursome, well hopped and nicley balanced against the malt. This beer is an example of what is not in a beer that satisfies. Look, it is well made and has a clarity and consistency that makes it anything but offensive. It’s just that it doesn’t excite like the other mambers of the SS family.

Pale yellow, with a decent head. Smells like a grassy, wheaty beer with hints of banana. Flavor is tart, grassy, and plain. Finishes bitter and slightly dry. So far, the only brew from Sam Smith’s that i didn’t particularly care for.

Lagers don’t impress me much but this was good. Clear amber with a weak white head. Nose was malty with a touch of fruit. Medium body with a watery texture and good carbonation. Flavor was crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Grain and hay sit side by side with burgeoning flowery hops...A creamy lactic body renders a striking diplomacy between flavors...Aroma is somewhat lacking in this well-brewed, quaffable lager from which many macros could learn...

Golden coloured. A not very interesting lager. Rather thin, sweet and boring.
