Poured golden in color with a large, frothy, rocky, white head that lasted. Very good lacing. Clear and sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of oats and cereal. Dry bitter finish. Light body. Thin and watery. Soft carbonation. Overall, not much to it, but it’s drinkable Slipstream (785), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 6, 2009 Another nice Samuel Smith label. Good pour. Light, sweet malt aroma, with some tangy, floral notes. Dry, toasty lager flavor with a pleasant touch of sweetness. Fresh and crisp. Samuel Smith is one of my favorite brewers. This is not their best, but it is one of the best lagers around.
