Aroma of hay, honey, some vanilla and a bit of licorice. Mouthfeel smooth and with a nice bit of heft. Maybe a touch prickly. Very lightly dryish on back end. Foamy, patchy lacing. Flavor of honeyish malt with some hay. Little bit of bittering hops comes through in finish. A pretty nicely done lager with a good malt backbone. lithy (1750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma - Very light malt, grassy, a bit of lemon.
Appearance - Pale straw yellow in color with pure white 1 finger creamy head. Head diminishes very quickly, but leaves nice lacing.
Flavor - Maltier than I would expect, grassy, slight citrus and floral on the finish.
Palate - Light and crisp. Not overly carbonated.
Overall - I’m not a big fan of lagers, but this would be a good lager to give to friends stuck on American macro ’lagers’. Crisp, refreshing and flavorful.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 24, 2008 550ml bottle. Golden with a big white head. Spicy hops, a bit of skunk, and some bready malt in the aroma. The flavor is light and clean, with crackerish pale malt and modest hop bitterness. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Unmoving, but refreshing as well. A bit worse for wear though.
