Bottled. Dark golden colour with large course bubbles rising to the top. Strong alcoholic aroma with some finesses; asparagus, boiled cabbage and complex hop aromatics. Strong alcohol flavour and mouth feel

Amber -- nice laces. Sweet aroma. Maybe some fruit, but very sweet. The taste is the same. This cant be right! I’m usually not afraid of sweet beer, but this is way to much. Practically undrinkable!

Bottle. Light amber coloured with a decent white head. Aroma is fruity, vinous, malty and a bit spicey. Taste is quite sweet and stickey, but short of cloying; lots of malt and caramel, quite fruity with warming alcohol in the finish. Nice.

This is ordinary. It lacks all the complexity that i expect from a barley wine. This is basically just strong and malty.

Filtered. Amber color, nice head. Strong mouthfeel, oily, warming, alcoholic, like a strong powerful lager; at the end gets better, with a very strong bitterness, like top fermented flavors, caramel, some sweetness.

clear amber colour without any foam; aroma of apple, alcohol and licorice; a touch of spices too; oily and sticky with a robust sweetness, full-bodied, very bitter and dry finish where more alcohol and fruity notes appear - a perfect winter warmer

Nip bottle. Very bright amber with small big bubbled head with bad stability. Nose is vineous and slightly sour. Quite well balanced but one dimensional flavor with warming alcohol. Watery, fizzy mouth feel.
