Draught @ Princess Louise, 208 High Holborn, Covent Garden, London, Greater London England WC1V 7BW.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090803]

A Mes rate: Tap at the Princess Louise.
Golden blonde with a very thin white film. Nice enough sweet malt and lemon and citric hops. A bit of paper but that is to be expected. You know what? It’s ok.

The 78. Aroma is biscuty, cardboard, good pale malt character. Taste is similar grassy pale malt, bittering hops in the finish make it very quenching for having cycled for a good hour or so.

<a href=http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/20/201 Angel, St Giles, London Lightly hopped British lager with a wheaty, slightly dirty malt and a gentle carbonation. it’s drinkable but neither tasty nor interesting.

Light golden colored, little white head. Butter dominates this cardboardy aroma, this is not clean one. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also unclean: cardboard and dry lemon, which last also in aftertaste. Not good.

Keg, half pint, served far too cold at The Cittie of Yorke, Holborn. Clear amber with a fast fading white foam. Pale malt to the nose. Frail taste of grass and malt. Lively carbonated. Poor in taste partly because it was served ice cold (Saturday eve, 09.08.2008).

Very sweet, like a Polish or a Czech lager, but not too strong. Beers from this brewery are interesting always.
