| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Dark red with a very creamy white/tan head. Nose is sort of a fruity almost cherry-like malt. Mouth-filling flavor is roasted malt that is very sweet but not overly so. Finish is clean with little to no bitterness. Tastes slightly yeasty to me. Very drinkable, but a little flat. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 On the bottle blurb they give a really boring history lesson about their long ass winded history and how some Wine critic fart digs this as a reference; This beer is a little generic , but nice .Lotta roast barley and coffeep a bit winey and dry. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a tall off-white head. Subdued aromas of caramel and toasted malts. The flavor had roast and chocolate. Medium body that sweet up front with a slight bitter ending. Kind of disappointed me but maybe it was an older bottle.
