Pours a very dark clear brown with a dark brown head. Lots of chocolaty malty flavor. Both sew and tart. A really nice porter

Jul 3, 2008 Dark brown with tan quickly fading head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, licorice and sugar. Thick bodied taste of coffee, chocolate, caramelized sugar, roasted malts with a semi-dry finish.

Jun 27, 2008 I really, really like this porter. I think Samuel Smith is an excellent brewery in general but this Porter is really a tasty treat.

Aroma: Malt and coffee. Bit of fruit.
Taste: Malty, and coffee. Burnt. Bit of fruit. Bitter
