Pours a blackish-brown with a tan head. Aroma of raisins, chocolate, malt and coffee. Smooth, creamy taste of roasted coffee, with chocolate and some fruitiness. Nice Porter with just the right amount of carbonation.

Pour is a dense creamy head with holds for a moderate time. Settles with little lacing. Beer is clear and very dark brown. Nose is rich caramel. Slightly smoky, dark chocolate, slight apple and rose. Taste is slightly tart, slightly metallic with a moderately bitter finish. Feel is light and full. A great beer.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a small white head. Aroma of coffee and liqourice with a pronounced roast malt taste and a nice balance of bitterness tempered with a background sweetness producing a lovely smooth mouthful . A really nice porter. Ideal for a dark, cold winters eve.

Bottle. Pours a dark, coffee color with a light tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, and a little bit of chocolate. Very faint fruity taste. Medium bodied. Hits the chest a little hard going down but otherwise, has an almost creamy mouth feel at the end. Good stuff.

Had this right after an Avery New World Porter and this doesn’t stack up... Not much flavor, thin, and slightly acidic/bitter at end - I will pass

Bottle. Pours dark ruby brown with a creamy tan head that lasts ages. Aroma has notes of chocolate, licorice, roasted malt and a hint of coffee. Flavour Flavour is very similar, with the roasted malt upfront and the chocolate, licorice and coffee playing supporting roles. Surprisingly light body and high carbonation, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. A very fine porter overall.

Pours black with a brown creamy head. The aroma combines sweet caramel and chocolate with a strong roasty element. The flavor is first dominated by a sweet coffee and chocolate which is just slightly bitter and sour with the finish.
