Aroma of coffee and liqourice with a pronounced roast malt taste and a nice balance of bitterness tempered with a background sweetness producing a lovely smooth mouthful . A really nice porter. Aroma has notes of chocolate, licorice, roasted malt and a hint of coffee. Flavour Flavour is very similar, with the roasted malt upfront and the chocolate, licorice and coffee playing supporting roles.
