Not really impressed. Sweet malt, some citrus. Drinkable, but not impressive.

Pours a dark golden with medium head. Aromas of sweet malt and a hint of hops. Flavor is sweet malt up front with a mildly bitter finish. A classic English ale from a classic English brewery.

Poursgolden brown with a thick white head that goes away quickly. Aroma is of malt and a hint of hops. Taste is malty up front with a pleasant bitter hoppy aftertaste. Nice winter brew. It ain’t the Christmas season if I don’t drink at least one of these.

Pours golden brown with almost no head. Aroma is almost all caramel while the taste includes something slightly funky. A bit flat as well

550 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear deep orange/copper with a small, lasting slightly off-white head. Nose of caramel, dark fruit and light floral hops. Taste is caramel, spice and nice hopping in the background. Pleasant.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange with a small off-white head. Pretty malty aroma with caramel, spices, and cheese. Flavor is mostly sweet malt, nothing exceptional to speak of. Creamy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nothing special, I wouldn’t bother with this one again.

Bottle. Hazy orange copper with foamy, small white head. Aroma is earthy with roasted nuts, grass, plums and cherries. Flavors of caramel, toast, prune, cherry, roasted nuts, and gingerbread cookies. Hop bite fades toward the back. Medium body with sparkly carbonation and slick mouthfeel. Finishes dry. Charming warmer.
