Pours clear light amber with a 2-finger off-white head, a thin bit of which lingers with decent lacing. A nice floral aroma with the warm malts detectable as well. A nice vanilla/caramel flavor, warm, well-balanced, with a nice lingering sweet/bitter combo. A slightly creamy mouthfeel rounds out the experience. Pleasant beer.

Pours a cloudy amber with a quickly fading off white head. aroma of carmel, roasted malts, and nuts. flavor is of alot of carmel, roasted malt, biscuit, spices, and a little hops. body is full with a medium, sweet mouthfeel, with decent carbonation and slight alchool warming. overall, a deccent winter beer.

I can remember this being one of the springboard beers that led me down a path of broken bottles and liver abuse. Cheers for that I guess, anyway, fairly heavy toffee notes with some UK hop notes, flavor has some hints of the aforementioned toffee and some mineral notes but mostly just watery.

55 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA via Chicago. Light amber colour with an almost rose hue. Sea-foam head, very floral aroma with some doughyness. Smooth, mellow flavor with a long and not overpowering hop finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear light brown amber color with a small off white head. Nose is heavy caramel with a light spice note. Palate is full and syrupy. Flavors of light nuts and caramel syrup with a dirty finish.

Bottled @ Cardinal. Pours deep golden with no head at all. Aroma of sweet pale malts and hops. Taste is good balanced, pleasant bitterness, but some strange pine, or citrus spoils the experience.

Pours a clear dark honey color. Aroma of molasses corn and pine. Smooth initial taste with a wonderful sweet brown sugar taste finished by a malt and grain. Well balanced.

Just off blonde ale, decent white foamy head. Taste is malty and sweet, with a rustic farmhouse like background that is unusual, but not unpleasant. Finishes quite sweet with slight alcohol. Decent, if unremarkable.
