Jan 16, 2008 A dark brown pour with almost no head. Light roasted malt aroma. Flavor that mirrors the nose. A semi sweet flavor. A bit foamy but solid. Average brown ale with decent malt and very lite hops.

Jan 13, 2008 On tap @ San Diego Brewing brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber with lasting tan head. The aroma has a nice load of roasted malts and nuttiness along with a hint of fruity esters. The taste is rich maltiness along with highly roasted malts and a big hazel nut nuttiness. Lots of flavor here, yum. There is a faint malt astringency mixing in nicely to help cut all the roasty malts, sweeter malts and nuttiness. Very good Nut Brown.

Nov 7, 2007 Nice brown color with little head. Aroma is light biscuit with a littlw hazelnut. Decent body. Very drinkable.

Jun 22, 2007 Draft at the brewery. Decent flavors of roasted malt and caramel. Some interesting other flavors. Maybe some bitter nutty type flavor. Pretty good.
