A dark brown pour with almost no head. Light roasted malt aroma. Flavor that mirrors the nose. A semi sweet flavor. A bit foamy but solid. Average brown ale with decent malt and very lite hops.

On tap @ San Diego Brewing brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber with lasting tan head. The aroma has a nice load of roasted malts and nuttiness along with a hint of fruity esters. The taste is rich maltiness along with highly roasted malts and a big hazel nut nuttiness. Lots of flavor here, yum. There is a faint malt astringency mixing in nicely to help cut all the roasty malts, sweeter malts and nuttiness. Very good Nut Brown.

Draft at the brewery. Decent flavors of roasted malt and caramel. Some interesting other flavors. Maybe some bitter nutty type flavor. Pretty good.
