Either way, not a good thing. Loved the Mission trail Pale Ale, and that is a much better and enjoyable option. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA

Dark brown colour nearly no aroma, just some roasted tones. A very borring taste, speciel for a nut brown. Hints of the flavour of little roasted barley, some dryness to the end. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

I have found another one I actually like. Dark brown with a decent head. Left nice lacing. Aromas of mocha and roastiness. Flavors were the same with a decent nutty aftertaste. Pretty tasty. The nose is very strongly nutty, quite malty, and a bit sour; And the flavor echoes the nose, being strongly malty and nutty, very toasty, moderately bitter; The mild sweetness fits well; Medium bodied, but rich, velvety and smooth; Ruddy mahogany color; Bubbly, light tan head maintains a thin layer, leaving thick, bubbly lacing behind SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
