...draft, at the shithole. What a poor excuse for beer. Served at room temperature, with hints of chemicals, dirty dishwater, and ass. The lemon slice was the best part of this "beer" that was so utterly horrible, I didn’t even want to finish it. Complete shit.

Sampler at the brewpub. A murky yellow body with a thin white head. Tons of banana in both the aroma and the taste. This is a very fruity beer, and I think the sweetness would not be as pleasant over a whole pint. A very decent brew though. I agree with a previous rater that this a hefe. Its like a paler clone of the denison’s wheat beer, which tops that category.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow with minimal head. Evident lemon aroma from the lemon sliced it was served with. Sweet with some light banana esters. A bit fruity with some yeast, dough and vanilla, rounded mouthfeel. Thirst quenching.

Decent hef here. Really shouldn’t be in the wheat category, this is definitely a HEF. Pours hazy golden with a thin head. Aroma is lots of spicy cloves and maybe a little banana (but not much). Smooth mouthfeel.

Draft at SFBC. Small off-white head that was mostly lasting, minimal amount of lacing, minimal amount of lacing, cloudy, no visible carbonation, and a straw yellow hue. Nose was sweet, spicy, clove and bananas. Ditto for the flavor with a dry finish. Smooth, dry mouthfeel. Light body. Quaffable for the style, nicely balanced and a refreshing brew on a beautiful, sunny SF Saturday afternoon.

Sampled at SFBC, June 2007. I would classify this as a hefe due to the yeast strain used. Classic cloudy golden with a white head. Banana, clove and herbal-ness in the nose. Flavor is light with notes of banana, lemon, citrus and wheat. Moderately sweet with mild bitterness. Light body with subtle carbonation. Solid.

Listed as Andromeda Hefeweizen and tasted like one, this draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a and a fair lacing. The nice aroma was malty and banana. The smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The good flavor contained notes of malt and banana. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Pale hazy yellowish pour. Taste was what you’d expect from a hefeweizen to me, and was clovey. I thought it was boring, and average, and not different from every other standard wheat I’ve had. blah.
