| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 2, 2008 Sampler at the brewpub. A rich, red-brown colour with a tan head. Dark fruit aroma. Sweet, malty flavours, with notes of chocolate, and the alcohol evident. Very smooth on the palate. This is a good winter seasonal, but after flying in from somewhere with a lot of snow to mild California, it seemed out of place! omhper (12236), Stockholm, Sweden
