22 oz. bottle, purchased at brewpub and gifted to me by DarkElf. Pours slightly hazed bright orange amber with a moderate sized head. Aroma of sweet fruity malts and spicy yeast, citrus, clove, sweetbread and a bit of alcohol along with candied orange, allspice and cedar. Flavor, like the aroma is sweet and fruity, orange liquer lots of spice, clove and nutmeg, nice floral bitterness and astringent herbs. Full body, creamy and smooth. Surprisingly good.

On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a clear bright golden with a well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of sweet toasty bready Belgian malts with some light fruity character. Body starts sweet, toasty and bready with a very nice balance of authentic Belgian yeast character. Finishes smooth and flavorful. A nice Belgian strong ale.

Poured a mostly clear dark yellow color with a small white head and effervescent bubbles. The aroma was yeasty and sweet with a caramel malt base. Fruity with notes of golden apples and golden raisins. The flavor was yeasty, fruity and malty. Phenolic finish and a medium body.
