Jul 1, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a hazed yellow-gold color with a miniscule white head that dissipates to an island in no time. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is lightly wheaty with notes of yeast and banana. Medium, clean body with fruit and wheat flavors. Somewhat astringent hops show up at times as well. The finish is wheat and fruit with a yeast aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

May 4, 2008 Brewer’s Special tap at San Marcos Brewery & Grill--Poured a soapy-bronze-straw yellow-mustard body w/ no head. Banana and clove nose. Good level of carbonatio. Robust, sweet, yeasty, bready, and true to style. Quite good. Best beer at San Marcos so far.

Jun 13, 2007 Tasted at San Marcos. Cloudy yellow with slight fizzy white ehad. Aroma of yeast, bread, and banana. Banana bread taste with a sweet finish.
