Smells sweet and light, plain malts and some slight dish towel. Tastes sweet malty, smooth, kind of plain but still ok. Some nice, earthy hops as well, slight bitter on the finish. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Sweet malty aroma with touches of floral hops. Medium, clean body with a balanced hops and malt profile. The finish has notes of caramel malt and resiny hops but is short-lived. Slightly above average overall. A hint of hops on the nose. A semi sweet malt on the front followed by a clena pleasant bitter. A bit thin but very solid and smooth. Aroma is light/medium malt-caramel. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, faint English hops. Smooth/creamy, nice mild/ESB. badlizard (2324), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 13, 2007 Tasted at San Marcos. Clear golden amber with a creamy white head. Malty aroma. Good silky palate. Well balanced with a smooth gradually unfolding bitterness and a dry finish.
