Bronze color, retentive off-white head, great lacing. Nose of diacetyl and light earthy hops. The flavor is creamy and had a full body. Smooth finish with a nice underlying hop note but the diacetyl is overpowering in the end.

Pours to a nice brassy color with a dense white head and nice lacing. The flavor is also brimming with corn syrup adjuncts. Light grassy bitterness. The aroma is light corn syrup and graham cracker. The palate is medium bodied, off-flavors detract heavily from the palate.

Draft at brewpub, Dec ’05. Served from beer engine. Coppery orange and hazy pour, with small creamy head. Fruity tangy aroma, some prunes, with some sweet malt. Somewhat malty flavors, and again tangy, with a lingering (sloppy imo) finish.

Draft. Overall a pretty mellow, drinkable beer. Sweetness throughout and generally smooth. Orange tint, small head. Nothing exciting really, but it went down well with my dinner.

(Nitro Draft: San Marcos Brewery & Grill in San Diego, CA) Not a bad brew actually; Slight sourness up front that is quickly superceded by a fruity, mildly sweet flavor; Nice smooth maltiness with a very mild bitterness; Medium bodied, smooth, velvety on the palate; Fairly sour nose, with a moderate aroma of wort; Light golden color; When served, the carbonation takes a few minutes to settle and form a creamy off white head with excellent retention; I didn’t actually see the beer poured, but the waitress confidently stated that this beer was served off the engine, but I wonder, since it certainly resembled a beer on a nitro tap, so that’s what I’m listing it as

This bitter pours with an orange-gold body topped by a medium thick to thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of toffee and butter scotch, and a slight touch of hoppy bitterness. The flavor is well balanced, leaning more toward bitter with slight grassy notes and a touch of toffee. Medium bodied and smooth.

Clear Apricot/golden with a thick foamy head. Swee/Strawberry yet, bitter aroma. Flat water, , orange rhind feel to it, not good at all.
