| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2004 (Nitro Draft: San Marcos Brewery & Grill in San Diego, CA) Not a bad brew actually; Slight sourness up front that is quickly superceded by a fruity, mildly sweet flavor; Nice smooth maltiness with a very mild bitterness; Medium bodied, smooth, velvety on the palate; Fairly sour nose, with a moderate aroma of wort; Light golden color; When served, the carbonation takes a few minutes to settle and form a creamy off white head with excellent retention; I didn’t actually see the beer poured, but the waitress confidently stated that this beer was served off the engine, but I wonder, since it certainly resembled a beer on a nitro tap, so that’s what I’m listing it as Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA
