The appearance is amber with a small off white head. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is hoppy and light caramelish touch. Bitter, light fruity and caramelish flavoured. Nicely balanced. Wouldn’t have guessed this was a brown ale, except for the color. Dark reddish brown. Aroma of caramel, bread, chocolate and fruit. Flavor was much of the same, but a bit buttery. Just ok. Taste was a bit nutty and malty, kind of the usual nut brown.
