Pours to a hazy brown body with chestnut highlights. Thin white ring of a head. The flavor is wheat, bubblegum, light cloves. The aroma is light wheat. The palate is creamy and lightly tart.

Draft at brewpub, early Dec ’05. Buttery yellow and hazy with small head. Good lemony citrus aroma, some clove spiciness. Lemony grassy malt flavors, with a sweeter finish, and more clove notes. Decent.

@ SM Brewpub: Hazy yellow color with a minimal white head. Banana in the flavor and aroma. Also included is some clove and light spice. Light to medium bodied. Not too bad on this one at least no diacetyl.

(Draft: San Marcos Brewery & Grill in San Diego, CA) Starts off with a fairly spicy nose like a Belgian; The flavor features a nice spiciness, banana, bubble gum, and a moderate sweetness, and once again, is strongly suggestive of a Belgian; Palate is medium bodied, a little sticky from the sweetness, but not heavy or cloying; Banana yellow in color and fully cloudy as expected from an unfiltered wheat; Off-white head fades fast and leaves no lacing whatsoever

Instantly noticeable pear candy aroma and sweet canned pear flavor. Banana character comes through in latter half along with a little grainy dryness.
