Commercial Description:
Named after the famous lighthouse built in San Pedro in the late 1800’s. An excellent everyday beer. Nice hop aroma, medium body with a floral hop finish.

On draft at brewery, consumed 01/21/08. Medium copper/amber color, good head retention. Active carbonation. Slightly thicker than water. Nutty malts start and piney, resiny hops finish. Lingering bitterness. Respectable.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt, some citrus/pine hops. Taste is citrus/pine hops-some bitter, medium malt-caramel. English something here. OK/mild carbonation.

On tap poured a hazy amber/orange color with a nice off white head. Aroma was medium citrus and pine with some caramel. The flavor was mildly bitter and fruity along with a good semi dry finish.

Well done. What's weak in the nose is made up for in taste with a fruity start and strong (but not overpowering) bitter finish.
