12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a slightly hazy light brown/deep amber color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is caramel malt. Has a roasted caramel malt flavor with some neutral hops in the background. Medium body. A fair Amber. Thanks Bill and Wendy.

Dark ruby color with a medium head. Nutty aroma and a mix of bitter chocolate and caramel. Big toasted malt flavor with a bit of roasted malt and caramel. Syrupy and heavy body, but a moderately bitter bite. Definitely not a normal Amber. A bit chalky on the finish.

Medium brown color with an average head. Slightly spicy aroma with some caramel and mild chocolate. Easy drinkability but rather unimpressive when compared to other Sand Creek beers.

Pours a three finger light tan head that fades quickly to thin layer leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Woody/hoppy flavor, balanced but hoppy finish. 12 oz bottle part of mixed 6-pak for $7.99 from Friar Tuck’s Peoria, Il.

Pours an average size, creamy, light brown head that is mostly diminishing. The body is murky and reddish brown in hue. I think I picked up the smell of roasted malts, chocolate malts, and perhaps some mild coffee malt in the aroma. The initial flavor is predominantly roasted malt and finishes with a slightly sweet, nutty taste. The duration of the aftertaste is short. This ale is medium bodied with average carbonation. A very flavorful ale but somewhat lacking in organization. The flavors and texture did not seem to be in sync in my opinion. Not a beer I would buy again.

Bottle. Hazy brown body, small head. Has the aroma of fermented apple and sweet caramel. Shitty flavor - dry toasty caramel, tangy Fuggle hops and an astringent papery finish. Meh.
