12 oz. Bottle. Ms. Claus sent this one to me. Caramel stands out as the dominant aroma. Some spice there also. Orange/Amber body with off white pale head that disipates fairly quick. Caramel flavor along with some bitter spice kick to start with. Body is rather thin somewhat watery the some candy caramel then bitter man this flavor changed like the date on the calendar. Sweet malt aftertaste on the palate.. Complex beer to say the least I guess.

Bottle. Pours amber with a nice off white head. This looks like a british beer in appearance. Aroma is very british like also, wet crystal malt, caramel, fruity esters. It loses a little momentum from there. Texture is somewhat watery and is a little fizzy. Flavor of caramel, butterscotch with not much hops to balance it out. There is something in the finish that is distracting, and I am not sure what it is.

12oz bottle-An amber body with no head and an aroma of caramel and malt. Taste of roasted caramel, sourness, and bitter on the back end. Not a bad beer.

What a discrepancy. A great aroma of musty English hops, caramel, vanilla. The taste was completely different story: sour, light body, bitter aftertaste. Not bad but sort of a disappointment after the nice aroma.

Ok as a change of paste. Tasty, little sour. Earthy. Malt/hop balance ok. Found at Brennen’s

Looks like coffee, tastes like coffee. Some people will like this. I could drink one a week at the most. Rich tasting - a bit too rich and sweet. Not a beer- like taste. Too malty - not enough hops.

Hmm. Toasted malts, some caramel and nuttiness. Toffee in the middle. Ends on a slightly dry note, maybe English hops? I agree with the other raters that there seems to be some butteriness in this beer, kind of like Newcastle. This beer was allright in the nothing wrong with it kind of way, but it also comes across as somewhat generic.
