Pretty attractive considering it’s advertised as their lightest offering. The aroma is sweet, with a touch of corn and vanilla. Very creamy, light to medium bodied. Quite refreshing, smooth finish. Certainly above par for your light offering, but has a slightly unclean taste that starts to pervade towards the end. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pours a healthy clear amber gold with an inch of soft white foam. Good head retention, adequate lacing. Impressive aroma of malt and peppery hops.
Very dry flavor of toasted malt - nothing at all like the aroma. Pretty much the same flavor all the way through to the finish, where a mild citrus bitterness kicks in. A little bitterness lingers into the aftertaste. Light body, good carbonation.

Pours clear golden with small white head. Medium bodied ale with moderate malt sweetness and toasty malt flavor. Finishes with light malt fade. Very sweet tasting but not cloying. No perceptible hop presence. A good drinkable malty ale. JPDIPSO (4928), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2003 Slightly hazed golden liquid with an off white smallish head. Malt and orange aromas with hints of light spice (clove & cardamom), somewhat like wassail. Initial dry malt flavor followed by a light herbal hoppiness. Somewhat like a heavy lager with a ale yeast character. Finishes dry and uneventful, but a decently crafted brew with no real faults. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent light golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma reminds me of smelling a bag of light DME. Body starts fairly sweet and malty with a good amount of carbonation and some mild bittering hop presence. Fairly well balanced and very drinkable. Would make a nice session brew. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
