Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, berries, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish with strong notes of chocolate and light coffee notes.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Pours a clear, dark brown with a warm tint of red and a dense, cappuchinoish head leaving a neat lacework. Sweetish, somewhat peppery hop aroma. Medium body, a little low in carbonation with a very smooth mouthfeel. Notes of caramel and nuts - perhaps a little coffee also. A subdued bitterness. 171107

Black color; big creamy head. Mild and milky aroma of roasted malt. Good body strength; good mix of flavors, with caramel and chocolate malt, but maybe the roasted malt wins over them; the flavor is still quite sweet, even if the bitterness is correct; a bit dusty. In the end, there is more a milky roasted malt aftertaste. Very balanced brew, good.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours dark and sits pitch black in my glass. Mid-sized, ultra creamy, khaki head. Good retention. The aroma is vanilla first, then chocolate and hints of cola, sassafras, minerally hops and coffee. The flavor provides sweet milk chocolate, bitter cocoa and spent coffee grounds. Full-bodied and velvety with restrained carbonation. Finishes chocolaty, medium burnt and moderately bitter. Thanks go out to ughsmash for providing the bottle of this world class brew!
