(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours black and opaque with a beige head. Burned, coffeish aroma. Medium body with burned coffee notes and some hints of dark, bitter chocolate. The finish is dry but not overly bitter. Quite a lively carbonation that could indicate a slight infection, but nothing that spoils the beer. 171107

Poured black with a huge tan creamy head. It took awhile to pour this. Aroma of chocolate and roasted coffee. Taste was much of the same. Very smooth roasted coffee brew. This was a good one.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for the bottle. Poured dark brown (opaque in glass) with a huge (H.U.G.E.) head. Good retention and fair lacing. Aroma of big coffee and roasted malt. Taste was sweet with lots of roasted coffee (yum). I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for any sweet coffee stout, and I’ll damn well grade accordingly.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of Ughsmash. Poured a dark brown color with red edges and an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of cofee grounds, chocolate, and some oats. Tastes of coffee grounds, chocoalte, and some vanilla. A coffee beer should have coffee in the aromas and tastes, and this one did. Body on the thinner side.

Bottle, thanks to Skyview. Poured deep brown with reddish highlights and a sticky cap of yellowy-beige head. Aroma was of very fresh, medium roast coffee with some darker chocolates.. quite nice. Flavor had a solid dose of the aforementioned coffee, which was quite nice.. not a whole lot else in there, save for some coffee and woody bitterness. Rather lightly-bodied and dry with a decent flow to it.. left coffee on a long-ish finish. Solid.

Pours an opaque black with a thin, spotty-lacing dark tan head. Has a rich roasty coffee and bittersweet dark chocolate nose with some oats. Body is a little thin and perhaps overcarbonated, but has nice coffee flavor, light caramel sweetness and earthy roasted malts with a hint of coffee tartness toward a nice, lingering, smooth dark chocolate finish without any trace of alcohol. A pretty enjoyable lightly sweet coffee stout.

A big thanks to Skyview for sharing this and others. Strong coffee-grounds, which I liked. Dry, dusty, vanilla flavors. A little limp on the palate and I can understand why not everyone likes this, even controlling for the dislike of some for coffee--it is not the best coffee stout.

Another one from Skyview. Thanks Bob. Coffee aroma and coffee flavor, like drinking a cold coffee that has been sitting a little too long, but not a bad bad. Black color and dry finish.
